In the business field, MBTI Personality Type Instrument is a very famous tool for team building and conflict management, with more than 2 million people taking it annually. MBTI typology classifies people into 16 types by 4 dichromatic preference-pairs:
1. Extraversion (E) – Introversion (I)
2. Sensing (S) – Intuition (N)
3. Thinking (T) – Feeling (F)
4. Judging (J) – Perceiving (P)
The official instruments can only be administrated by qualified administrators because unqualified administrators may interpret the results wrongly and deliver a wrong message to the audiences.
If you want to get an idea about what it is, you may try a similar test by clicking this link: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
When you are filling the questionnaires, remember to choose the answers that truly reflect your OWN preference. Please bear the following principles in mind when you are taking the test:
1. Please ignore others’ opinion and influences. Ask yourself, if you are free to choose without concerning about others’ comments, what will you choose?
2. Please choose an answer that you like and feel more comfortable. Please do not choose an answer based on “how I should behave” or “what is an ideal answer”.
3. When you are answering some situational questions, be caution! Don’t take others’ expectation into consideration (e.g. your boss)! That is not your true self! That is your ideal self created by the society or others!
After you have filled in the questionnaires, please visit http://www.personalitypage.com/portraits.html
Choose your type and see whether it describe you correctly. If you like, you can visit the Career section, Relationship section, and Personal Growth section in this website.
Please feel free to ask my questions about the test. I will try my best to answer.
I would like to invite you to share with us your Personality Type by leaving a comment.
It is the best to understand your type by communicating with other types. Let’s start our exploration together!
Enjoy^^
